Trazamed, the leader in Drug Traceability based GS1 standards, developed a free Android application that facilitates the identification of each drug data.

The system allows GS1 Datamatrix code reading and display information such as the GTIN (Product code), Batch, Maturity, Series, Laboratory, Presentation and Unit Dose.

To read the Datamatrix code, only requires pressing the "scan" and automatically turn on the camera application. The conduct an autofocus system to interpret the Data Matrix. If the camera has low resolution or the code does not have good print quality, reading may take a few seconds.

Trazamed Android has been tested to date with mobile Samsung Galaxy S2, S3, S4 S-Advance y Note. The application does not support devices with cameras lack autofocus. Shortly be adding new features in the application and continue standardizing mobile devices more compatible models.
